What is a RAKEZ package?
A RAKEZ package bundles the main elements of a free zone company: the licence, registration, a facility (such as a flexi-desk or office) and a visa allocation. Packages are designed around typical business needs, for example a solo founder needing one visa, or a trading company that needs space and several visas.
The headline figure for a package rarely equals the total first-year cost. Visa processing, medical tests, Emirates ID, establishment card and certain approvals are often charged separately. Example: how visa needs change the cost picture
Consider two founders choosing RAKEZ. The first is a consultant who needs one investor visa and works from home and client sites; a small facility with a single visa allocation may be enough. The second plans a trading company with stock and three staff in the first year; that business needs a facility with a larger visa allocation and possibly storage, plus visa processing for each employee. The licence fee may be similar, but the total first-year cost is very different because of the facility and visas.
