RAKEZ investor visa

For shareholders of a RAKEZ company. The investor visa lets the owner live in the UAE under their own company’s sponsorship, subject to eligibility.

RAKEZ partner / manager visa

For partners or appointed managers where the company structure allows. Requirements depend on the role and shareholding.

RAKEZ employment visa

For staff hired by a RAKEZ company. The company must have an available visa quota and the employee must meet the immigration requirements.

RAKEZ visa requirements

Typical documents for a RAKEZ visa application include:

  • Valid passport copy and recent photograph on a white background
  • Valid RAKEZ licence and immigration establishment card for the sponsoring entity
  • Current visa or entry stamp if the applicant is inside the UAE
  • Employment contract or offer details (for employment visas)
  • Educational certificates where required for the job title, sometimes attested
  • Any other document requested by the authority for the specific case

RAKEZ visa renewal

A RAKEZ visa renewal should be started before the visa expires. The company licence and establishment card must also be valid, so we check those dates at the same time. Renewal normally involves a new medical test and Emirates ID renewal. Late renewal may result in fines, so we recommend you contact us well before the expiry date.

Moving an employee from another company to RAKEZ

When a new employee is transferring from another UAE employer, the previous visa and labour permit must be cancelled correctly before the RAKEZ employment visa can be completed. We coordinate the timing with the employee and the previous employer, so the employee stays within the permitted period and the transfer is clean on both sides.

RAKEZ visa for family members

Once you hold a RAKEZ investor, employment or freelance residence visa, you may be able to sponsor your spouse, children or parents, provided you meet the income and accommodation conditions set by the immigration authority. Family visas are sponsored by you personally rather than by the company.
